ram-in-the-parlor
Ram in the Parlor

A very detailed and meticulously sculpted glass ram skeleton mounted on a restored and modified antique cast iron parlor stove topper. There are over 200 individual pieces that were sculpted and assembled by hand. The glass used achieves deep complex colors, many purples and blues; and rich,warm,vibrant colors, tones of amber and garnet. Different lighting,backing, and the direction from which you are viewing it will correlate to what colors you will see. This piece was inspired by gothic and baroque architecture, traditional metal art, catholic reliquaries, and the feeling of standing in the center of a very large, very old building. The skeleton can be adjusted and detached from the cast iron base. While I am not a fan of the vastly overused pitch “This is a unique piece” that art curators and dealers seem to be so fond of…this would fall into that category quite nicely.

If you have any questions, comments, or custom inquires, please either message me here, or on Instagram @fallonglassandsteel

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0686/3955/5823/files/4F886652-490A-4CDA-BEF4-48B9D889034A.jpg?v=1738706076
